A macroeconometrician by discipline, with graduate education in economics and finance, the practice lead has spent a career building forecasting infrastructure that institutions run continuously rather than one-off analyses they file and forget. The technical remit spans structural macroeconomic modelling, industry-level and time-series econometrics, demographic cohort projection, simulation-based forecasting, calibration, and stress testing. Behind it sits a professional portfolio stretching from economic modelling and forecasting through data engineering to financial markets, a combination that means the practitioner who specifies a model also understands the pipeline that feeds it and how its outputs will be read by an investor, a lender, or a rating analyst.
At Veridian the practice produces the firm’s recurring forecast suite: multi-region economic and industry-level projections, population and cohort forecasts, labour supply, demand and occupational outlooks, housing demand, supply and price models, and regular reads on labour market conditions and price dynamics.
